There are three spot that i know of that are pretty good spots to train ur character in runescape.
#1. if ur a low level(level 3- level 15) u should train accross from lumbridge where there are plenty of goblins around. They also drop bronze armour which ic=s decent for a beginner or low level.
#2. if ur a level higher that 15 and u want to get levels quickly,u can train in varrock at the varrock palace. there are lots of gaurds there that arent very strong and they give u pretty good experience.
#3. once ur higher that level 30 u can train next to the crafting guild. there are hobgolins there. nobody eever really trains there so u can get great experience and lots of hobgoblins to kill. The hobgoblins are also good because they have decent drops.
