other blogs
so i've been reading other blogs and personally, i think mine is coming all right. i just want to have a lot of followers...i think im gonna have to get my name out there by advertising. the only hard think is where do i advertise? should i do it on other blogs or should i do it on the games i play. a lot of my friends say that i should do it on other blogs but i dont think thats right since other blogs have a hard time themselves.if u could help me with this issue then post a comment and ill get back to u as soon as possible.

Hi, I'm the writer behind the runescape bits blog...
ReplyDeleteIt takes time to build up readership of a blog, the best thing you can do to start off is install google analytics on ypour blog, to see where your visitors are comming from, how long they stay and how they use your blog. As far as promoting goes, you should;
1. Sign up with 2-3 runescape forums and leave your blog link in your signature. Then answer questions usefully that people may have, start popular topics that might get lots of replies and views, etc. Dont just go out and say go to my blog... people will have to like you or find interesting what youre saying to go check out your blog, and come back.
2. Sign up with a service like feedburner, and offer people to subsribe to your new posts by email aswell as rss - so they have a way to come back. The Google follower thing is not enough.
3. Comment on other runescape blogs aswell. A relationship with another runescape blogger is more important than one with a simple reader. Do igve constructive comments, not just "thanks for the great post".. and people will be more likely to visit you if they like what you said... For example, I bet youre going to come check my blog out! (runescapebits.blogspot.com)
Good luck and I'll probably make a blog post soon enough on how to get more traffic to one's rs blog...cheers!
wow, thank you so much. i was trying to figure a way to get people onto my blog and to get iit popular. thanks for all the advice!
